Frequently asked questions
Which audio formats work?
Anything your browser can play: MP3, WAV, AAC/M4A, OGG and FLAC in most browsers, plus the audio track of MP4 and WebM videos.
Can I print it as a poster?
Yes — download the SVG. It is a vector, so it prints sharp at any size, and each bar is a separate shape you can recolour or resize.
What does “normalise” do?
It scales the loudest part of the track to the full height, so a quiet recording still fills the image. Turn it off to compare loudness between files.
Is this an audiogram video?
It is a still image. For an animated clip, place the waveform over a video in an editor; for audio editing itself, try the Audio Cutter. To show only part of a track, trim it to that section first, and the waveform will fill the whole image.
Is my audio uploaded?
No. Decoding and drawing happen entirely in your browser.
