Habit Tracker

Tick off daily habits, keep streaks and export your progress.

Small Habits, Tracked Every Day

Add the habits you want to build — reading, exercise, water, study, meditation, no sugar — and tick each day you do them on a monthly grid. The tracker keeps your current streak, your best streak and this month’s completion rate for every habit, so progress is visible at a glance and a broken chain is easy to restart.

There is no account and nothing online: your habits live in this browser’s storage. Download a CSV of your history for a spreadsheet, a backup file to move to another device, or a calendar reminder that pops up at the same time each day to prompt your check-in. It works on phones, where the grid scrolls to today.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to form a habit?

Research by Phillippa Lally at UCL found it took from 18 to 254 days, with a median of 66 days, for a behaviour to become automatic. Consistency matters more than perfection — missing one day did not reset progress.

How is the streak counted?

It counts consecutive ticked days back from today — or from yesterday if you have not ticked today yet, so a streak is not shown as broken before the day is over.

Can I track past days?

Yes, any day up to today can be ticked, including earlier months. Future days are locked.

Where is my data stored?

Only in this browser. Download a backup regularly, and restore it to continue on another device or browser.

How many habits should I track?

Start with two or three. Tracking too many at once is the most common reason people stop.
