Extract PDF Pages
Keep, drop or reorder pages and save the result as a brand-new PDF.
Keep, Remove or Reorder the Pages of a PDF
Sometimes the document is nearly right and only the pages are wrong: a contract with a blank verso after every sheet, a scan with the cover page upside down at the end, a report where only the appendix matters. Rebuilding that by hand in a viewer is tedious, and most online page editors want the file first.
This extractor reads the page tree in your browser and lets you describe what you want to keep as a simple range — commas, dashes and open-ended ends. The pages you name are copied into a brand-new PDF in exactly the order you listed them, so selecting and reordering are the same operation.
Key features
- Ranges that behave sensibly —
1, 4, 7-9keeps five pages;-5means up to page five;6-means page six onwards. - Reordering for free — a descending range such as
9-7puts those pages in reverse, and the page order follows exactly what you typed. - Odd, even and reverse presets — one click for the common cases, including stripping the blank backs of a duplex scan.
- A page inventory — every page is listed with its real size in millimetres and its rotation, so you can find the odd one out before selecting.
- Deleting is just keeping the rest — to drop page 3 of a 10-page file, keep
1-2, 4-10; the result is a new document with no trace of the removed page.
This tool runs entirely inside your browser using native Web APIs. Your files and text are never uploaded to a server, never logged and never shared with third parties.
How to use: Extract PDF Pages
- Open your PDF
Drop in one file. The page count appears together with a table of every page, its paper size in millimetres and any rotation applied to it. - Describe the pages you want
Type a range such as 1, 4, 7-9, or use the Odd, Even, All and Reverse buttons. The selected count and the resulting page order update as you type. - Check the order
The preview line lists the pages in the sequence they will appear. Ranges are honoured in the order you wrote them, so 5-6, 1-2 really does put page five first. - Save the new PDF
Press Extract to new PDF. A fresh document containing only those pages is built and downloaded; the original file on your device is never modified.

Frequently asked questions
How do I delete pages instead of keeping them?
Describe everything except the pages you want gone. To remove page 3 from a 10-page document, enter 1-2, 4-10. The output contains no reference to the removed page at all — it is not hidden, it is absent.
Can I put the pages in a different order?
Yes. The order of the output follows the order you type, so 3, 1, 2 produces exactly that sequence, and a reversed range like 10-1 flips the whole document. Reordering and selecting are the same operation here.
Can the same page appear twice?
No — each page is included once, and repeats in the range are ignored. If you need a page duplicated, extract it on its own and then use the Merge PDF tool, which happily accepts the same file more than once.
What does the rotation column mean?
PDF pages carry a /Rotate value telling the viewer to display them turned by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. It is the usual reason a scanned page appears sideways. The value is preserved in the extracted file, so pages look the same as they did in the original.
Does extracting reduce the file size?
Usually, and often by a lot. Only the resources the kept pages actually use are copied, so pulling three pages out of a large report leaves behind every font, image and stale object the other pages needed.
