Frequently asked questions
Why does it say my book is DRM-protected?
Books from most stores are encrypted so only their apps can open them. Converting them is not possible here; DRM-free books from publishers, Project Gutenberg and many indie stores work fine.
Is the layout identical to my e-reader?
The text, headings, lists, tables and pictures are kept; styling such as custom fonts and drop caps is simplified to clean book typography.
Can I read the book without converting?
Yes — choose any chapter from the list to read it in the preview.
Is the e-book uploaded?
No. The EPUB is unpacked and laid out in your browser.
