Instead of losing the edges of your picture, pad it: choose the shape and the whole photo sits inside it, with a solid colour or a blurred copy of the photo filling the space around it. Or simply add a clean white gallery border, a coloured frame, rounded corners and a soft drop shadow.
Border width can be set in pixels or as a percentage of the photo’s short side, so the frame looks the same on a small and a large image. The preview updates as you change anything, and the result is saved at the photo’s full resolution.

How do I post a whole photo on Instagram without cropping?
Choose Square 1:1 or Portrait 4:5 as the canvas shape. The photo is fitted inside with a border, so Instagram has nothing to crop.
What is the blurred background?

Can I get a transparent border?
