Sometimes you need somewhere to put text right now — a phone number read aloud, a draft message, a snippet pasted between machines — and opening a document, naming it and choosing a folder is far more ceremony than the task deserves.
This notepad opens instantly and saves as you type, directly into your browser’s local storage. There is no account, no sync service and no upload: the text stays on the device you typed it on, which makes it genuinely private and also means you should download anything you need to keep.

Where are my notes stored?
In your browser’s local storage, on the device you typed them on. They are never sent to a server, which is why they are private — and also why they do not appear on your other devices.
Will I lose my notes?
They survive closing the tab, restarting the browser and rebooting. They are erased if you clear site data or browsing history, use private browsing, or the browser evicts storage under pressure. Download anything you cannot afford to lose.
Is there a size limit?
Local storage is typically capped around 5 MB per site, which is roughly two million characters — far more than any realistic note. If the quota is ever hit, the tool warns you rather than failing silently.
Can other people see my notes?
Not through the network, because nothing is transmitted. But anyone with access to your browser profile on that device can open the page and read them. Do not store passwords or sensitive personal data here.
