The visual grammar of the image macro has been fixed since the late 2000s: Impact, white, heavy black outline, upper case, one line at the top and one at the bottom. It survives because it is legible at thumbnail size on any background, which is a genuinely good piece of design.
This generator reproduces it faithfully on a canvas in your browser. Long captions wrap automatically and the block grows upward from the bottom, so a three-line punchline still sits where it should. There is no watermark, because there is no service to advertise.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my text not look like Impact?
Impact ships with Windows and macOS but not with most Linux distributions or Android. The tool falls back to the nearest heavy condensed face available; the layout is identical, the letterforms differ.
Is there a watermark on the download?
No. Nothing is added to the image except the text you typed.
Can I put text somewhere other than top and bottom?
Not in this tool — it deliberately reproduces the classic two-caption format. For arbitrary placement, our Image Watermark tool lets you position text anywhere in the frame.
