Watermark Images Without Uploading Them
Watermarking exists because you do not entirely trust where a picture will end up. Uploading that picture to a free watermarking service to achieve it is a contradiction most people notice only afterwards.
Everything here happens on a canvas inside your browser. The original file is read, a copy is drawn at full resolution with the watermark composited on top, and that copy is handed to your download folder. The photo never travels, and the file on your disk is untouched.

Frequently asked questions
Can the watermark be removed?
It is composited into the pixels, so there is no layer to switch off. Determined editing can still reduce or clone out any visible watermark — that is true of every watermark ever made. Tiled, semi-transparent marks are the hardest to remove cleanly.
Does it work with transparent PNGs?
Yes for the logo. The output is PNG, so transparency in your source image is preserved rather than flattened onto white.
Will it reduce my image quality?
No. The image is drawn at its original resolution and exported as lossless PNG, so nothing is recompressed.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Reading, compositing and exporting all happen in the browser. There is no server component, which rather matters when the whole point is protecting the image.
